VSA U11-U12 Select
Our U11-U12 Select program is for players that wish to be in a more structured environment with players of similar commitment levels, technical, and/or physical abilities.

VSA Rush U13-U19
VSA and Iowa Rush share a vision for the caliber and style of soccer they want to play as well as the type of experiences and opportunities the clubs want to deliver to players and teams.
Instead of selecting only a small group of players for ECNL and GA teams and remaining players being placed onto teams at VSA or Iowa Rush - players will now be selected into tiered VSA Rush teams that matches their current level of play and development needs.
Players will first be considered for our highest competitive platforms (ECNL and GA). From there, additional VSA Rush teams will be formed at multiple competitive tiers, ensuring that each player has an appropriate environment to continue developing within the club.

Age Group Change
Starting for the 2026–2027 seasonal soccer year (August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027), youth soccer programs across the country will adopt a new age-group cut-off date of August 1 instead of January 1.
WHY THE CHANGE?
Helps reduce the number of “trapped players” (those separated from classmates due to the calendar-year cutoff)
Better aligns youth soccer teams with the school-year cycle.
Belief that reverting to the pre-2017, Aug. 1–July 31 age group format will best support player development and improve overall balance and participation across youth soccer.
